Merry Christmas!

Finally got to open all my presents!!! My patience seems to be better than I thought…*maybe?*

Didn’t really celebrate this year but it was more like hanging out with my friend and had lunch in her house. Dumplings and fried noodles! And nope, I didn’t made them =P Yeh anyone that know “MLCC” knows that she is hopeless in cooking…


Lol, this random grumpy old lady with funny purplish-pink hair appeared on TV for no reasons!

We watched a movie in the house and we went out to a park for a walk. I didn’t know it was so close to IKEA! See, this place is so pretty and peaceful…


OHH~ and this is Andi's little mouse...so cute =] I was too scared to hold her tho >.<

After burning off some of our energy, we decided to give ourselves a small reward! Yes! Ice cream :D plus one of my FAVOURITE snacks - CHESTNUTS >3<

hmmz…ladies in our group in vcp, we all know how much yoyo loves Super Junior-one of the member, KI (Potassium Iodide or Kang-In<>, depending how well you understand it =P )…so yup, we watched the 1st Asia concert dvd. Great dancers and singers!
Tram back to Boxhill and caught my bus back to East Donny, then pick up my car n drove to Bev's house for yummy Tiramisu...I should learn too~ then by the time I got home I was so full.

I am not looking forward for the coming weekend at all...Working tomorrow from 10-5pm...then Saturday from 10-5pm ( that will be SO busy! I can predict!)...Sunday from 10-3pm...then omg Tuesday from 10-5pm again...

Just want time to pass faster! Now I want to get out of Melboure.

Its Christmas Eve today.

Ever since I was young I deem Christmas as the happiest festival of the year. Those good old times…when we had parties in school, when we had school play, when we swapped presents, when we sang Christmas carol; it seemed that the air is full of joy of Christmas.
But now, for the first year ever; I am feeling so different.

Coming all the way to study…Being alone in Melbourne…It had always been a path that is set for me since I was young. It had always been my parent’s plan. Yes, I am thankful and happy about the decision. And the price which I have to pay that is, yes, being alone here; learning to be strong and independent. Good or bad? Depends on how you look at it =] I would say I am pretty happy to be here with freedom; let alone I used to lie on bed everytime I arrive Melbourne from Macau , “Why am I here?”. But now it seems that I’ve found something that I truly look forward to in Melbourne, maybe not now yet…but I am sure this time when I return to Melbourne in 2 months time, I would feel different. Positively.

Even though on any ‘special days/festivals’ I tend to feel a bit empty…I mean, looking back into the memories, the times I had with my family and friends, the way we celebrated each festival, whether they are chinese or western…There were so much fun. And now it seems that those times won’t come back anymore.

Moving on to merrier things!

I went for my pharmacy's Christmas Eve breakfast at 8am today! omg had such a bad sleep ( was planning to sleep at 11pm but my mum called my twice after 11:30pm to place their 'order' of what tey want me to buy -.-") but I am glad I got my energy back thro my 2 hour afternoon nap =P Apparently everyone that went got their pressie besides ME...why? becoz, my 'secret santa' were LATE...so I will onyl ot my pressie on Boxing Day when I go back for work~ After that I drove to The Pines and got the 1o packs of chocolate for my mum...then I took the bus and headed to Boxhill again to get those Creams for my relatives (15boxes!)...then back to Westfield AGAIN, to get a Parker Pen for my dad as present...now I basically finished all th shopping for overseas! and I am 101% BROKE!

Yes its Christmas tomorrow…or maybe I would say, in a few hours’ time! That one and only present which I was told NOT to open till Christmas morning…I can finally open it SOON =] I can’t believe I didn’t cheat and open it earlier -.-” I mean, I opened all my presents and then wrapped them back, so I will reopen them again on Christmas~ yeh but EXCEPT for that one and only present!
And tomorrow I will go to my friend’s house. At least I have a friend that can spend Christmas with me! Thanks yoyo~

Girls Day out!

Again, I am not updating my blog everyday =P

But today I caught up with some of my high school girlfriends in the city! We were meant to meet under the big yummy ferrero rocher tree in MC as ferlene had commanded..

..neh too crowded tho...It's a nice tree! Me and my friends were wondering how cool it would be if it was made out of real chocolate....who cares about diet and diabetes now!I'll worry about those later!

And we went to Don Don for lunch..the jap 'resturant' which is quick, effective with yummy food! Dockland was our next stop...was meant to check out the new shops, I thougt I havent; been there before..but half way tho our journey Iralised I had been there before with my friend a month ago =S sigh~ memory is retarded!

We were SOO full after eating 4 short stack pancakes at pancake parlour, and for me and yuki...we had extra ice chocolate and ice coffee...yeh...i felt very...contented and full...most importantly...I couldn;t move after all the food!

Afterall it was a fun day out...just bumped around and at least I dont; have stay at home and become a stone =]

So holiday so far...hm...I am working on Nobody dance...getting there getting there..takes time. Also I am trying to think of what to get my dad for Christmas...any ideas?

Its mid Dec already! time really flies....

and for some reasons, I don't want this week to be over...

If I could have a power, I wish I can control time...

or actually, do I really want to?

Holiday so far....

Awww....I know I know, I had been lazy again...I should have update my blog more often...

Anyway! I had been pretty busy enjoyng my holiday after exams. I hadbeen waiting for this this for 8 months! omg! End of year 1! How do I feel? FREE =P

After my Geelong Trip, we had our MAP meeting at Sofia on friday. It was pretty productive, besides I didn;t eat a lot. We went through what we will be doin next year, and I am so proud to say they are all very very thoughful and assertive friends who contributed a lot into the club. Thanks a lot guys!

From a little joke by me, mel and andi at the start of year about setting a music club; till we actually handed in the forms; geting members; starting rehearsals....and the way MAP took off in the first performance. It was brilliant. Like a dream came true for me. Thank you for making it possible. I've learnt a lot in this club; I've learnt to be assertive and make the right decisions, I've learnt to take responsibilities not because I have to, but I want to. Most importantly, MAP had brought me this bunch of really awesome and caring friends who had always been there for each other. It's like, a big happy family, ins't it? =]

I am sure MAP would be a shining star in the campus, when we all work together as a team and share our passion to music.

On Sunday we were meant to go to Westfield with Andi and Daph....haha, and *wink wink* we got ditched by Daph... (nice job=P neh its ok daph, dw=]) ...So me, andi and her friend who just came to melbourne bumped around at boxhill....ohh we met Jennifer (vcp) too! didn;t knw she's working in MyChemist! Well,I never handed in any resume to boxhill, I knew I wont; liek to work there. And I am right.

Yesterday! aww! was awesome night! We had a birthday dinner wih Pauline, Micheal *2, Lewis, Sharon etc etc in Sofia in the evening (omg..Luisa's-non-reversble-Sofia-phobic-syndrome). Dress code was meant to be cocktail...does that mean for guys theyave to wear ties? or not?...I duno...don't blame me =P...and also, Thanks Yuki an Mandy for borrowing me dresses! I ended up wearing Mandy's silver dress afetr deciding for TWO days! It was a tough decision =P

Oh yeah! nice chocolate packaging! "I will start my diet tomorrow lah..let me eat today!"

We had food (you know what food in Sofia la...) and we talked a lot. Funny enough, I never relaly know much people in my course , and yesterday was a great opportunity to meet some new friends! And i did! now i know mroe people! =] =] I love socalising! (only when i am not tired or busy eating =P)

Sigh~~ I had been procrastinationg again!! ok, now lets' put down a list of thing have to do:

1) SEND MAP 's meeting things to members. That includes: Music for next year, Orientation informations and new membership forms, aim of club to those who would help in orientation. ( Pls accept my apology ppl, I had been pretty lazy lately)

2) Start Nobody dance ---(Mel, its mirror image right? it woudl be funny if we do inopposite direction-.-)

3) Start pratising Guzheng and find a piece that can be fused with guitar or sax ( any idea ppl? )...start a solo ( should I practise a traditional one or a 'modern' one? GIVE ME SOEM IDEAS!)...and pratise Dong Feng Po and Qing Hua Che ( those two we rehearsed before with mel)

4) Start learning Kiss the Rain on piano...( Thanks mel for 'translating' da "beans" for me =P for you i will start playing it soon!!)

Geelon Trip

GEELONG!!

It was awesome! Even though we didn't go o a lot of places, we sure did a lot of shopping ( right girls?!..=P) It was 12th that we arrived Geelong...Freaken hot i swear! and i was in my jeans....Really wanted to rip it off =S

So we got to Mel's house...tired enough. We had a rest and we went to ajap resturant for lunch, not bad not bad..i alway love the jap pancake!

Then we started our shopping! Westfield Geelong uhu! well, yeah, we all got something =P....nothing much....just this pile =P andwe also did some grocery shopping for dinner;we had steak, mushroom etc etc.

YES, I COOKED...can you believe it! :P I cooked some ofthe steak and Mel did the cheesy yummy mushroom and veggie =] ...where daph and andi were watching the HUGE tv! how huge?! LOOK! ...I never thought myblog can be...that...BIG!

It was an swesome night....they played PS3, we had pillow fight too=P and we chatted till 4:30am....lol...good job mel and daph..stayed up till 6:30am....sunrise was tempting to watch andi, i know...but it sees that sleeping was more tempting =P

and so..this afternoon we headed off home...tired, but it had been a fun trip! definitely gona do it again!

P.S: The flowers are very pretty, and I really appreciate them =]

Andi's birthday

Yesterday was my dear dear DEAREST friend ANDI's 20th birthday!!!yeah!

So lets start from the PREPARATION:

On the day before...which is monday,,, I baked a CAKE! okok! i cheated (shut up shirly!)...I used cake mix! BUT STILL!! its my first time ever bakin a cke WITHOUT the help of aunt =] As a pharmacy student, I know how to measure accurately LOL, and i swear the "preparing creams and mixure" lab class helped me a lot in bakin the cake this time...It turned out to be pretty ok actually. And most important I apply my dispensing label skill again HOHOHO

ON THE DAY (21st Oct):

We went to Oriental Spoon in La Trobe Street...A korean resturant sicne we know Andi wanted to eat korean food=] Its my 2nd time eain korean fod so far and I would say I like that resturant....We had a lot of fun WAITING for each other to decide what to eat -.-""""" but at the end we ordered 3 dishes and shared.

Then SURPRISE time!!! my <3>

After that we went to Kbox...and sang out heart out...hmm, lets do it some other time girls! It was just so much fun!!!

Btw, Mel looked SO differnt with dress n heels =P ( OKOK mel, i didnt post THAT photo up=P )

P.S.: Andi, you're a great friend! and i will always remember 14th Feb 2008, the day when we three meet each other =] (awww, how sweet...) Thank for beign there for me all teh time, standing by me ans support me. Now we hope you will have a great new journey ahead. We will be here by your side too =] Love ya heaps!

A sunnie day

I can;t believe I am still so energetic after sleeping at 2am everynight! Insomnia seems to be improving a lot ever since I started to sleep late.

Today was really a nice day...as I am still procrastinating, I decided to go to the new shopping center near my house--> "Westfield"....I think this was my first time being there after all stores (nearly all) opened again...Its pretty! Last time I went there was with my high school girlfds, an the only thing I remember was the food court.

Sadly I have to admit it IS smaller than Chadstone, i was execting too much from it I think. Regardless of its size, I still got lost like usual. So basically it was my shopping day! I even got some groceries ( salad veggie...yeh..i want to be healthy!..and of course some SHAPES la <3>
Come and visit me ppl! I will take u there and we can do shopping LOL...but before that, let me work more first la...$_$

Took me only an hour or so to bump around and I went home....NO, if you want to ask if I 'd studied after that.no i didnt!...I was playing with my ipod for so long...even tho there's NOTHING to play in it....maybe thats another excuse for me not to open any books >.<
Oh no Iam so dead for exam this time seriously, never been so slack....

And now I m too tired to study... so...music time!
